About the Role

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing customer relationships while driving equipment sales across your assigned territory.

Representing a diverse portfolio of industry-leading products, you will work closely with councils, contractors, golf courses, grounds maintenance providers, roadside maintenance businesses, and commercial operators to identify opportunities and deliver equipment solutions that support their success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing an assigned sales territory
  • Building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Promoting and selling John Deere, STIHL, and other equipment solutions
  • Conducting customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and follow-up activities
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer partnerships
  • Achieving sales targets and market share objectives
  • Maintaining accurate customer and territory information
  • Monitoring competitor activity and industry trends
  • Supporting customer events, demonstrations, and industry functions
  • Working collaboratively with Parts, Service, and Branch teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
What You'll Bring
  • Previous sales experience, preferably within equipment, construction, turf, agriculture, automotive, or a related industry
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to business development and customer engagement
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a territory
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering results
  • An interest in equipment and machinery solutions
  • A valid driver's licence
