About the Positon:

We are seeking a Sales Consultant – Compact Construction Equipment to join our Hastings Sales Team. As a Sales Consultant, you will bring enthusiasm and a passion for success to learn and be part of a team dedicated to offering world-class customer service and solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Represents the company for the sale of equipment to customers within a geographic area
  • Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
  • Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
  • Understand and adhere to a clearly defined sales process.
  • Achieves sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events, including conducting new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.

What are we looking for?

  • Sales industry experience and comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment are considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and travel internationally.
