Join a team that’s helping to optimize Customer's supply chains - CHEP’s Regional Sales Team is looking for a Telephone Account Manager to join on a 12-month contract.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building strong relationships with your own portfolio of existing CHEP customers
  • Solving customer account challenges while delivering unparalleled customer service
  • Introducing your customers to the latest CHEP technology, initiatives and processes to enhance their experience
  • Identifying opportunities of value to your customers in CHEP platforms and services, helping you to grow your portfolio

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a successful track record in a Sales/Customer Service-related position
  • Be driven, resilient, supportive and operate seamlessly within a team environment
  • Be a personable broad-based communicator with exceptional active listing skills
  • Be an adaptable and agile negotiator, with strong objection handling capability
  • Have strong analytical skills and complex problem-solving ability is highly desirable
  • Ideally have some existing solution selling skills
  • The following skills and experience are being sought for the role:
  • Well-developed negotiation and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Advanced computer literacy and the ability to learn IT systems quickly (SAP, Salesforce CRM)
  • Experience in quickly and efficiently solving customer issues
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and operate well under pressure
