Your role

You'll be a part of our Remuneration and People Operations team focusing on our HR Technology program of work, which includes initiatives in our core HR platform (Workday), process automation and AI. You will be based in any of our Australian offices (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney). As the Technology Project Coordinator, you will take on a breadth of responsibilities – we encourage creativity and flexibility, as no two projects will be the same.
Key duties will include
Assisting in developing the HR technology roadmap for Allens
Updating and communicating initiative plans, issues and risks as required
Providing support and helping stakeholders to make key decisions around prioritisation and timelines
Leading smaller projects and providing coordination for larger initiatives
Providing input into functional and technical decisions as needed
Supporting the change management activities, including review of training materials, help guides, and facilitation of engagement sessions and demonstrations
Supporting data migration and testing activities where required.
This is a full-time 12-month Fixed Term position. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.
About you
The role requires demonstrable experience in the following skills:
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.
Planning and Prioritisation: Ability to maintain oversight of a diverse portfolio of work
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Workday system.
Project Management: Experience in managing small projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and system configuration.
Demonstrated experience in any or all of the activities below will be advantageous:
Business Process Mapping: Experience in mapping and optimizing business processes.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
System Testing: Experience in developing and executing test plans to ensure system functionality.
Training and Support: Experience in providing training and support to end-users.
Continuous Improvement: Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
