Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced individual to join us as a Technical Project Manager within our dynamic Two-Wheeler and Power-sports Department. This is a 2 year, maximum-term, full-time opportunity with potential for permanent conversion based at our Clayton headquarters and will involve occasional domestic and international travel.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Overall project responsibility including technical (cost, time, and quality) to ensure profitability
  • Coordinating all development activities across all project components.
  • Interfacing with the customer for all technical issues.
  • Leading and liaising with sub-project managers providing regular project status updates.
  • Ensuring system, software, hardware development, integration, testing and release according to defined project delivery dates and quality standards.
  • Undertaking activities to acquire new Two-Wheeler business
  • Participating in global teleconferences (including but not limited to Germany, Japan, and North America)

Qualifications

The successful candidate will ideally have a strong mix of Technical and Project Management skills and knowledge. We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establishing effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.

This role will suit an autonomous leader that enjoys getting involved in the technical elements of the project, working across regions, bringing people together, and taking total responsibility for the project – end-to-end.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Engineering Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent qualification.
  • PMP or equivalent qualification
  • Driver’s license
  • Significant experience as an engineer in Automotive and/or an Electronics Product development environment
  • Extensive experience and a proven track record in managing Automotive or equivalent Projects
  • Extensive experience in the development of embedded systems.
  • Demonstrated risk management experience.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across different countries and regions
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, collaborative mindset, intercultural competence, results-oriented
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Strong emotional Intelligence
  • Strong interest in technology and its opportunities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Other highly desirable criteria:

  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR os &/or product development experience
  • Motorbike license desirable
