About the role:

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, design effective data solutions, and support the transformation of complex reporting structures into modern analytics dashboards. You will contribute across the full lifecycle from analysis and design through to documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Experience eliciting, documenting, and managing both technical and business requirements.

  • Wireframing & Report Transformation: Proven success transforming complex legacy reporting environments into streamlined Power BI dashboards 

  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Documentation: Skilled in creating concise technical documentation, including user stories, requirements, and system specifications.

  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes, analyse data, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Technical Proficiency: Solid SQL skills and familiarity with database design, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Testing & Validation: Experience creating test plans and validating solutions to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.

You will be at an advantage if you also have:
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.

  • Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).

  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.

  • Previous consultancy or client-facing experience.
