About the Role
Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Private! As a Technical Advice Specialist, you will:
Establish and deliver strategic advice & other technical training.
Participate in technical forums and business working groups as a subject matter
expert and provide strategic and technical advice support.Monitor and provide guidance on the implementation legislative updates and
embedding of new requirements into business processes.Provide Federal Budget coverage with guidance on potential impact on advice
strategies.Assist in the development, review and communication of technical content in
advice documents, as well as maintaining internal technical guides and in-house view on strategies.Provide technical support and constructive feedback to internal stakeholders.
Respond to telephone, email and other inquiries of a technical nature with
service standards.Review and sign-off for technical content for PP publications.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
A bachelor’s degree in finance or law (or similar).
Completed qualifications in financial planning, as well as RG146 qualified.
At least 5 years of experience working in traditional trustee services or banking and finance.
Previous experience in a technical service or support team role, or similar.
Experience in writing and delivering technical presentations and training.
Excellent communication skills, as well as proven stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of SMSFs, superannuation, taxation, estate planning, asset
protection, business succession, insurance, social security and aged care.
