We need a passionate and experienced Talent Lead to coach and mentor a team of recruiters during immense change and transformation whilst building a positive culture and successfully delivering on the recruitment goals for our hospitality team.

Reporting to the Talent Manager, this role partners closely with HR Partners and Operations Teams across all States, delivering innovative talent solutions and providing insightful data and insights.

With an operational focus, this role is critical in identifying process efficiencies and ensuring an amazing candidate and hiring manager experience each and every time!

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of high volume recruiters 
  • Manage the operational activities for the recruitment team
  • Ensure the team delivers best practice, builds effective partnerships and provides an exceptional experience for our candidates and hiring managers
  • Partner with business and people leaders to understand their requirements, providing influence and consultation on talent acquisition strategies, challenges and solutions 
  • Leverage data from a range of internal and external sources to share current trends, insights and market intelligence 
  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies, events and campaigns to generate awareness of our brand and to attract talent 
  • Lead and coordinate project based activities such as bulk recruitment, social media, best practice initiatives and streamlining of processes 

Qualifications

  • Past experience and proven success leading a full life cycle talent acquisition function in a high volume, ambiguous, fast paced and matrix environment 
  • Proven track record of success in the design and execution of marketing campaigns with experience in employee branding 
  • Highly competent with reporting and analysis of data and the presentation of information and insights
  • Results-oriented and demonstrates a high level of ownership and accountability in delivering outcomes
  • A strong collaborative leadership style with ability to gain and hold the trust of business and people leaders 
  • Experience in leading teams though significant change and transformation 
  • Curious and a problem solver, seeing challenges as opportunities
  • Able to build a positive culture with enthusiasm!
