We are seeking a Systems Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support the operations of our managed services clients in our Small and Medium Business (SMB) team.


Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Provide level 3 systems support for all SMB customers.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems and infrastructure issues for SMB.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve problems within customer infrastructure environments.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and trust.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for systems, infrastructure, and
    procedures.
  • Occasional paid overtime work to support service availability.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to support their technical development and professional
    growth
  • Provide guidance on best practices, troubleshooting approaches, and customer engagement strategies.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience as 365 Cloud and Azure specialist.   
  • Effective communication skills when troubleshooting technical issues. You will be able to remain calm and articulate, providing clear explanations of the problem and preventative measures. 
  • A keen interest in technology and a strong desire to ensure that all technology is functioning optimally.
  • A positive attitude and can-do mindset, fostered by your proven track record of helping others resolve
    technical issues. 
  • Networks experience is advantageous.
  • A strong knowledge of ticketing systems would be advantageous. 
  • Microsoft and other industry certifications. 
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with change. 
  • A personality where everyone knows that when you take on a task whether it’s huge and scary or tiny
    and boring, you’re going to see it through to the best of your ability.
