THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT: 

Our IT department is in charge of the rollout, evolution and maintenance of Ivalua Cloud which hosts the environments of all our customers across the world. With over 50 global team members (EMEA, AMER, APAC) covering the IT infrastructure, Cloud computing, internal IT support, IT security and client applications support, the team keeps expanding to sustain the company's strong business growth.

ROLE: 

Reporting to the Global Client Operations Director, you will act as the technical lead for Client Operations, Infrastructure and SOC activities. You will be responsible for covering these operations for US & APAC regions in Australia and Singapore. 


WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US 

  • Part of the APAC Client Ops team and working closely with the Global Client Operations team (AMER, APAC, EMEA)
  • Support Project and Application Maintenance teams on our Commercial Cloud, and ITAR Platforms
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications, raise and follow up alerts with internal teams
  • Ensure continuity between AMER closure and EMEA opening
  • Act as part of our follow the sun organization
  • Analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve servers, software, network and other potential IT build ; deployment issues
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise with ability to prioritize
  • Provide technical support on-site or via phone or email
  • Analyze system, application, network and other logs and identifies potential issues with the Ivalua Solution
  • Communicate and interact effectively with internal stakeholders and team members about the issues being troubleshoot
  • Collaborate and contribute on technical initiatives
  • Create proper documentation, diagrams and other detailed instructions and procedures qualifications
  • Experience working with different types of Windows servers in all environments (Dev,Test, Pre-Prod, Prod)

  • Assist with system builds, and firefighter rotation servicing as first responder. 
  • Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues, applying updates and patches
  • Enforce security protocols, and ensure system and network integrity
  • Develop/Suggest automation workflows improvements for repetitive and manual tasks
  • Analyze, log, track, and resolve issues pertaining to inconsistent server configuration
  • Part time activity with the SOC scope (mainly as backup)


YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:

Mastery:
Administration of Windows & Linux servers, Active directory administration, OS & software patching,

Web Application publishing, Performance


Proficient:
Virtualization, Public Cloud computing (Azure), and Web Server (IIS), Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Routing, Firewall, WAN, etc.), NT File System, Group Policy, RDS,SSL/TLS protocols. SOC tools: SIEM & EDR. Endpoint security solutions

 
Basic knowledge:
Database (MSSQL), Scripting (Powershell), DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service), WAF (Web Application Firewall), backup solutions
 

Other skills & experience:

Required experience:
At least 7 years proven experience in similar position 

“Nice to have” experience:
Knowledge of cloud concepts and platforms, especially Azure. Experience in an international company & team.

Soft skills:
Stress handling, leadership, team player, good communication, problem solving attitude, strong reporting skills. Good documentation writing skill.
