What this job involves:
As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in the Energy and Sustainability team supporting and implementing sustainability initiatives and data analysis. You will be responsible for analysing data, conducting research, and providing recommendations to drive sustainable practices across various aspects of the business.
Responsibilities of the Sustainability Analyst include:
Be the main point of contact and act as client facing, manage stakeholder communication on sustainability data and performance
Prepare client reports, presentations, and deliver insights on sustainability metrics
Oversee data collection and analysis for energy, water, waste, and emissions
Manage utility billing coordination and financial reporting for energy/water budgets
Support external sustainability audits and data verification
Identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions with stakeholders
Engage facility managers to reduce environmental impacts
Lead sustainability projects from business case through delivery
Research industry trends and best practices
Assist with climate risk assessments and data gathering
Contribute to broader team goals and initiatives
Key Skills required:
Qualification in Finance, Engineering, Science or related field with passion for sustainability or industry related experience
Experience reviewing and analysing sustainability performance data
Highly proficient in data analysis tools (Excel) with strong research and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with practical approach to implementing sustainability objectives and identifying trends/anomalies
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and contribute to high-performing team environments
