Job Description

The Indirects Supply Chain Operations Lead plays a crucial role in tactical and transactional implementation of the Indirects procurement portfolio with the Sodexo Australia Supply Management team.

Reporting to the Head of Indirects and Fleet Procurement, the role is responsible for supporting the Procurement Managers to execute supplier implementation, mobilization of new contracts, operational activities, and providing direct support across operations relative to supply chain requests, challenges and functional support.

We seek a professional with experience across multiple categories, who is adaptable, agile and demonstrates a strong issue resolution and customer service focus.

  • Operational Support
  • Bids and Mobilisation Support
  • Tactical Problem Resolution
  • Supplier Interface and Catalogue Coordination
  • Data Analysis, Presentation Preparation and Reporting

Skills:

  • Customer focused, and excellent influencing and negotiation skills teamed with the ability to understand key stakeholder requirements and build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and implementing business process.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, self-confident, honest and flexible, professional work ethic.
  • Ability to work autonomously and establish priorities.
  • Ideally knowledgeable or experienced in contract administration and contract management;
  • Strong level of financial acumen, and good analytical skills
  • System Management: ERP system experience with proven abilities in the creation and maintenance of master data


Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Min. of 5 years’ experience in Operations/Logistics/Procurement/Supply Chain/planning functional role
    • Demonstrated experience of understanding of supply chain, logistics, ERP systems, compliance systems
    • Understanding of Indirect categories is ideal, however FM and Food would very welcome
  • Qualifications:
    • Min., Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management/ Procurement
