Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Student Intern to join our office in Melbourne, Australia.
The Role
As a Student Intern, you will collaborate with a group of eight motivated experts. The team is responsible for the end-to-end financial support for a diverse range of Renewable Energy Projects spanning multiple technologies (primarily including Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind, BESS and Pumped Hydro), and your role will be to work with the team in supporting the financial activities of the team.
More specifically, you will be responsible:
- Management and liaising with outsource service providers
- Support budgeting and financial reporting activities, including being responsible for reconciling and raising re-charge invoices, chasing up outstanding payments and monthly expense management,
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packs, including development expenditure tracking,
- Supporting the preparing accurate reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
- Period-end closing, including accounting entries and reconciliation.

- We are seeking a candidate who is currently pursuing a university degree in a relevant field, such as Commerce or Accounting. The position requires part-time availability, working from our Melbourne office 2-3 days a week.
- We value candidates with relevant internship experience but are also open to those with a strong educational background in finance, commerce, or accounting.
- Additionally, we are looking for a highly capable and motivated individual who thrives in an innovative and high-performing environment.
