About the Role: This role sits within our Mars Pet Nutrition business, supporting the Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) team and the wider One Demand function. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that SRM continues to drive value creation within the local market, supporting capability development across the business, and enabling effective execution of our Value Strategy.
Role Title: SRM Analyst
Location: Melbourne
Hours: Full-time, Hybrid working
Reporting to: Strategic Revenue Management Director
Support the deployment of portfolio promotional strategies and development of annual trade promotional plans, collaborating with Sales and Key Account teams to identify opportunities for category and profit pool growth.
Partner with key account managers, and assist in the execution and management of agreed Trade Promotional Strategies for brands and portfolios.
Help develop and maintain channel and pack-type promotional guidelines, ensuring clear alignment across teams.
Consolidate and input recommendations into Pricing Council processes, ensuring actions are completed on time and in full.
Build and maintain financial models to support SRM leads in evaluating scenarios, assessing performance, and driving data-led recommendations.
Period reporting on price and promotional performance
Graduate or relevant equivalent experience, ideally with experience in FMCG or consumer goods industries.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships.
Pricing knowledge and understanding of pricing elasticity, thresholds, and metrics (preferred).
