A bit about your role
The Strategic Account Manager at nbn is a senior sales leader responsible for managing critical accounts and acting as the second-in-charge to the Account Director.
This role combines strategic leadership and operational excellence, requiring expertise in deal-making, complex selling, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
The manager drives long-term value through selective targeting, value-based selling, and market positioning, while also providing leadership and support to the sales team.
Key responsibilities include developing account strategies, leading negotiations, building executive relationships, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration and promoting nbn's values of care, teamwork, and delivery.
A bit about you
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have significant experience in account management with a proven track record in complex selling and strategic deal-making. They should have demonstrated success in leadership roles, strong capabilities in selective targeting and market positioning, and expertise in value-based selling and objection handling.
Essential skills also include strong numerical and analytical abilities, outstanding communication and influencing skills, and excellent planning and organizing skills. Proficiency in Smart Solutions programs and operational technology for developers is also required.
