About the Role:
Outstanding opportunity for a highly experienced Manager to continue to drive our successful Victorian business to new levels!
Located in Melbourne city, reporting to the Executive General Manager - Workforce, as the State Manager, you will lead the tight knit workforce team to ensure appropriate delivery of staff resources and meet all contractual and operational staffing requirements. This critical senior role manages the provision of temporary nursing and care staff to public and private healthcare and disability service providers, ensuring the business achieves revenue and growth targets in accordance with the strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Take a lead role in the development of the annual budget and setting of financial targets for the state’s business
- Ensure that resources are efficiently allocated and managed to meet budget requirements
- Ensure there is continued focus on increasing workforce supply across the business
- Work with Marketing to identify and implement new recruitment and retention initiatives to meet demand and supply requirements
- Liaise with colleagues to maintain and develop existing candidate pipelines and identify other key initiatives to deliver temporary nurses and existing clients
- Meet with clients on a regular basis to develop relationships, identify new business opportunities and ensure that service delivery meets or exceeds agreed service levels
- Respond to agreed request for tenders to achieve business growth and financial targets
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong management experience in the Healthcare and/or Disability sector
- Market knowledge of clients and candidates
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong documentation/reporting skills
- Ability to work and adapt to a changing market
- Ability to meet deadlines and show initiativeAbility to focus on and achieve target
- Well presented and highly organised
- Well developed IT skills.
