As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll be a core member of our team. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer with deep expertise in full stack engineering, specializing in TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in designing and building scalable, resilient systems and enjoys mentoring engineers while shaping technical direction across squads.
Staff Engineer lead the design and implementation of complex backend systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure our platforms are robust, secure, and future-ready. You’ll work closely with product, design, and platform teams to deliver high-impact solutions in a modern cloud-native environment.

Lead the design and development of full stack applications using TypeScript, Next.js/Node.js and AWS
Architect and implement scalable microservices and APIs in AWS using best practices in distributed systems.
Drive adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and observability standards across engineering teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and evolve system architecture and technical roadmaps.
Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and architectural risks.
Contribute to platform-wide initiatives such as feature flagging, synthetic monitoring, and environment automation.
Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Technical Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
Deep expertise in TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js
Expertise in backend architecture, API design, and microservices.
Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
Proven experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., SNS/SQS, Kafka).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CDK) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., App Insights, Datadog, CloudWatch).
Solid grasp of DevSecOps, SDLC best practices, and automated testing strategies
Nice to Have: Working knowledge of AI-powered engineering, including:
Integrating with LLM-based systems (e.g., chatbots, voicebots).
Designing for agentic orchestration and multi-turn conversational flows.
Understanding of AI observability, prompt handling, and fallback strategies.
