In this role you be joining our new Identity and Access Group, Integration Excellence squad who are challenged with the design and delivery of how our identity platform integrates with channels across the Group. Building for reuse, they will own UX Patterns, UI Components, SDKs and everything needed to make integration with our modern identity platforms a success.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading, promoting continuous improvement, developing technical roadmaps, and improving the quality of technical solutions by implementing industry best practises. You'll also work closely with other technical leaders and product owners to document new changes and drive various initiatives. It will be key that you are able communicate well with the rest of the squad members, provide technical guidance and mentoring to the engineers in the team, while being exposed to some interesting challenges.

Tech Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
Backend: C# on .NET Core, Node.js (TypeScript)
Frontend: React (Redux), Next.js
Database: SQL and NoSQL experience
AWS Hands-on experience, prefer AWS Architect Associate certification
Microservices design and implementation of highly scalable APIs
At least one scripting/programming language (i.e. JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python)
CI/CD tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus)
Automated Quality Engineering and Testing (Unit Testing, Regression Testing)
Any experience with the following would be great - Configuration Management, Application Security, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Observability tools
