Responsibilities:
Conduct audits to gather use cases and UX patterns across our digital products, create reusable component and pattern definitions that can support a diverse range of use cases.
Identify inconsistencies in existing component usage and design, and deviations from the existing design system
Work collaboratively with teams to ensure alignment and adoption of a consistent set of components and patterns
Work collaboratively with developers to implement and quality check components
Crafting component and pattern usage guidelines
Enforce processes to guide the appropriate usage and upkeep of the design system
Champion the value and advantages of the design system to internal stakeholders, advocating for its adoption within our organization, and demonstrating its positive impact on user experience and efficiency.
Continuously enhance and adapt the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging design trends.
Qualifications:
7+ years as a designer, with preferably 2+ years of experience maintaining a design system
A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of product design, craftsmanship, and innovative solutions from conception to launch
Strong UI design skills with proficiency in Figma
Content strategy, HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus
Excellent methodical and critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree from accredited university
