ABOUT THE ROLE:  

The Aviatrix Networking Product Engineering team is responsible for delivering performant, resilient, and scalable solutions to our gateway appliances. This includes infrastructure for messaging, upgrade, high availability, as well as networking and security features that contribute to the Aviatrix, end to end multi-cloud solution.  

We are searching for a Staff Engineer for the Aviatrix Data Pipeline team in Bengaluru. The data pipeline team develops and maintains the infrastructure to collect telemetry at scale by building highly performant real-time data pipelines. Aviatrix unique position in enterprise cloud environments present a unique set of technical challenges for the collection, transformation, and transmission of data across a varied architectural landscape. The team's products enable the development of data driven products in the Aviatrix suite of networking and security features
enabling our end-to-end multi-cloud solution.


Location: Aviatrix Systems India Private Limited 02-103, 2nd floor, WeWork Princeville, Embassy Golf Links Business Park Challaghatta, Bengaluru

Work Model: In-Office Preferred (3 days in office)


Responsibilities: 

  • Code using primarily Golang and Python developing observability plane modules in a multi cloud networking product 

  • Can complete small features independently without guidance  

  •  Participate in design and code reviews  

  Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years relevant software development experience building enterprise-grade appliances Experience software design, implementing and delivering features independently without guidance 

  • Proficiency in Golang (preferred) or Python  

  • Experience building microservice based services. 

  • Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and ETL best practices. 

  • Prior working experience on one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Alibaba cloud, etc.) is a plus  

  • Excellent software engineering skills: ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code 

  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations and start-up environments 

  •  Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with deploying and managing big data technologies on K8s 

  •  Experience with Networking Principles 

Education and Experience: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
