As the Senior Manager, eCommerce, you will be responsible for the overall digital growth, strategic direction and performance, with particular emphasis on e-commerce results and digital marketing excellence.
Overseeing digital strategy, execution, team leadership and financial management, you will report to the Country Manager ANZ and part of the leadership team. Ecommerce will be a key driver of our growth, our omnichannel experience will play a central role in elevating our market position, ensuring a seamless connection between digital and retail.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Leadership team to develop and execute YETI ANZs strategic growth plans, ensuring alignment and monitor key initiatives and drive to deliver results
Define and execute the e-commerce strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring a seamless and elevated customer journey while driving online growth
Manage end-to-end digital operations, optimise website performance, enhance CRM strategies, and spearhead the implementation of a loyalty program to deepen customer engagement
Set and achieve KPIs such as conversion rates, AOV and customer retention
Full P&L ownership, ensuring revenue, margins, and costs align with business targets
Expand digital sales channels, including direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites and B2B portal
Ensure YETI ANZ digital channels are optimised for speed, UX/UI, and functionality to improve key metrics such as conversion rates and AOV
Implement personalisation strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive higher conversion
Continuously refine customer journeys through data insights and feedback to remove friction points
Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies across SEO, PPC, email, affiliates, display ads, and social media
Leverage data-driven customer segmentation to drive targeted campaigns and enhance customer journeys
Integrate digital and offline channels for a seamless omnichannel experience
Work cross-functionally with IT to integrate e-commerce platforms with business systems for performance including enhancements
Stay ahead of emerging e-commerce technologies (AI, chatbots, AR/VR) and assess their impact
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, innovate, and drive growth through new ideas and effective implementation
Collaborate with operations team to streamline order fulfilment, warehousing, and inventory management
Use analytics tools to track key KPIs, including revenue, traffic, conversion rates and ROAS
Provide data-driven reports to the executive team and stakeholders, with insights and recommendations.
Implement A/B testing and experimentation strategies to optimise site performance and marketing campaigns
Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring all digital initiatives are executed effectively
Recruit, develop and inspire the e-commerce team, fostering a high-performance culture
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, ensure employee engagement, and manage performance effectively
Work cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, operations, IT, and customer service to ensure business alignment
Qualifications and Attributes:
8+ years’ experience in ecommerce/digital roles across retail/fashion/FMCG industry
4+ years’ experience leading teams and/or cross-functional project management
Proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses with experience building Brands and demonstrated ability to drive customer engagement
Expertise in digital marketing, online sales strategies, UX/UI and platform management
Strong understanding of P&L management and commercial acumen
Familiarity with omnichannel strategies and retail integration
Proven experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to be agile
Strong capability in problem-solving, negotiation, decision-making and conflict resolution
Curiosity to learn, laser-focus on the details and resourcefulness with all that you do!
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and manage relationships with cross functional team members
Familiarity with digital platforms and tools such as Shopify, Salesforce, Klaviyo, or similar.
Solid understanding of onsite merchandising and content and how it can be used to drive sales
