As a Specialist Support Administrator, you will provide specialist administrative support to enable EML’s Legal & Technical teams to proactively manage personal injury claims effectively, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant jurisdiction.
This will be a full time, 12 month contract position based in the Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to Legal and Technical teams to progress and resolve specialist claims, litigated claims, and/or disputed matters.
- Manage information requests and exchanges related to specialist claims, litigated claims, and/or disputed matters in line with required workflows and timeframes.
- Liaise with providers and stakeholders in relation to specialist claims, litigated claims, and/or disputed matters.
- Maintain accurate records in the relevant claim system as directed.
- Prepare documentation and correspondence for specialist, pre-litigated, and litigated claims, and/or disputed matters.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports as required.
ABOUT YOU
- 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within an insurance, legal, or claims environment.
- Confident computer skills, with experience using ACCtion and NOVUS highly regarded.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret basic technical terminology and Victorian legislation.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
