Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a Special Projects Manager to join our growing Australian team and be an integral part of our international expansion.  You should be interested in tackling a healthy mix of strategic and execution-oriented tasks while having the autonomy to make critical decisions to run our business effectively. You will be a creative problem solver and data-driven thinker. Working across multiple areas of Marketing and Operations, including Forecasting, Negotiations, Stakeholder Management & Strategy, you will take ambiguous operational challenges from initial diagnosis to analysis to implementation, as we establish and scale our International Operations. The right candidate is excited by the prospect of wearing multiple hats and solving tough problems - whatever they may be!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and/or support a variety of mission-critical projects to build out our Australian operations 
  • Support new product launches and expansions into other markets
  • Use data-driven models and analyses to create actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements
  • Build and maintain Operations tools, KPIs and dashboards to facilitate transparency and rapid decision-making
  • Analyse existing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations and Finance, ensuring change management takes hold across the organization 
  • Project manage high-priority projects - you’ll ensure all stakeholders are on the same page and each strategic initiative is a success
  • Develop frameworks, models, tools, and processes to ensure data influences decisions at all levels within your team - you’ll add structure and process to make a team run as efficiently as possible

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • 3-5 years of experience at top-tier management consulting firm or applicable experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, investment banking or consulting
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of managing and/or supporting large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, relationship management,  problem solving and delivering recommendations
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent proficiency with spreadsheets and slides
  • Local to Melbourne

Preferred:

  • Experience with CPG/Retail/E-Commerce, especially with furniture, textiles, or apparel, is a plus
  • Experience managing request for proposal processes, onboarding and working with creative teams 
  • Experience utilizing and/or building dashboards (ex: Tableau / Looker / Sheets)

Compensation:

  • 150,000-190,000 AUD annual salary + super
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
