What You Will Achieve
All over the world, Pfizer colleagues are working together to positively impact health for everyone, everywhere. In this role, you will establish and maintain an appropriate and sustainable Product Quality System and Quality Culture at the Pfizer Office (PCO) and any contractor/distributor in Greece, Cyprus, Malta, so that compliance with Pfizer and Regulatory authority expectations and protection of Pfizer patients/customers from any product quality risk is ensured. You will be the main point of contact for the investigation and resolution of all product quality issues discovered or originating in the Greece/Cyprus/Malta Offices activities and for interacting with the relevant local stakeholders, Pfizer Global Supply and local regulatory authorities on such issues.
You will have the responsibility and authority for ensuring that the appropriate quality standards and systems are implemented and maintained for the product supply operation of the Pfizer business.
You will lead and manage a team of colleagues who will elevate the importance of product quality as a fundamental principle across the business. You should be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division and set direction for its success.
Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.
How You Will Achieve It
• Set objectives for and manage multiple projects/ ongoing work activities within the team.
• Manage the team supporting the product quality management system.
• Train, coach and mentor team members to achieve team, business unit and organizational goals.
• Implement all applicable Global procedures within the Pfizer Country Office (PCO).
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Quality Management System (QMS), evaluate and highlight any significant trends and identify actions.
• Notify management of significant concerns or repeated deviations that occur within the Quality Management System and all issues potentially affecting marketed product.
• Ensure regular quality management reviews are conducted for continuous improvement.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of Product Quality and Good Distribution practice audits and inspections of the PCO.
• Contact local regulatory authorities by phone or writing in response to product quality issues.
• Oversee the management of product quality complaints that originate in Greece/Cyprus/Malta and ensure compliance with global procedure.
• Oversee the local batch disposition process for release of products for distribution to Greece/Cyprus/Malta markets.
• Implement an effective quality management process for Pfizer's logistic service providers who distribute Pfizer products in Greece/Cyprus/Malta.
• Work collaboratively with the local stakeholders (internal and external) to support business goals and business critical processes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.
• More than 10 years working experience in a pharmaceutical or related regulated industry.
• Eligible as a Qualified Person.
• Excellent stakeholder and people management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with Board of Health communication and hosting internal and external audits/inspections
• Experience in leading and growing teams.
• Strong negotiations and effective communication skills.
• Excellent system skills - Word and Excel essential, experience with electronic documentation control systems.
