How you will make an impact
Deployment Architecture Design
- Define and document deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
- Design system architecture including data flow, security zones, and scalability.
Infrastructure & Security Planning
- Lead discussions around VPN connectivity, AWS Private link, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
- Collaborate with client IT teams on secure access, authentication, and encryption.
Identity & Access Management
- Design and implement IDP integrations (e.g., SAML, OAuth, Azure AD).
- Ensure role-based access control and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a technical lead during pre-sales, implementation, and post-deployment phases.
- Provide guidance to implementation consultants and engineers on deployment best practices
Training & Documentation
- Work directly with client architects, IT leadership, and security teams.
- Translate business and clinical requirements into technical architecture.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or similar AND 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT infrastructure and security
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
- 3+ years of familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, coding workflows, and EHR systems.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), VPNs, and identity providers
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of implementing software solutions in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include
- Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
- Attention to detail, strong presentation and training skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to balance technical depth with business context.
- Ability to manage multiple interface projects and meet deadlines.
Work location:
Remote
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic
Must be legally authorised to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
