Overview

As a Solution Design Specialist at Team Global Express (TGE), you’ll design and validate tailored end-to-end logistics and supply-chain solutions that meet both customer requirements and business-unit objectives. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Data Analytics and GTM teams, you’ll transform complex needs into scalable, efficient offerings that deliver real commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive logistics and supply-chain models - from initial concept through to delivery execution - to address customer pain points and optimise performance.

  • Partner with Product Managers to ensure solution designs leverage existing capabilities, roadmap initiatives and strategic business goals.

  • Collaborate with analytics teams to test and refine solution assumptions, using modelling and simulation tools to confirm operational and financial viability.

  • Equip Sales and Marketing with solution-based proposals, detailed presentations and proof-of-concept materials that articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.

  • Continuously review processes and customer feedback to pinpoint cost-saving, efficiency or scalability improvements within your solution designs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in logistics or supply-chain solution design, with a strong grasp of methodology frameworks and best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical feasibility with commercial considerations - ensuring solutions are both effective and profitable.

  • Proven track record of dissecting complex challenges and delivering scalable, streamlined solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Hands-on experience with logistics modelling tools (e.g., network simulators, route optimisers) and data-driven validation techniques.

  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach - able to liaise effectively with Product Managers, analysts, GTM teams and external stakeholders.

About You

You’re a creative strategist with a rigorous analytical mindset. You thrive in environments where innovation meets operational rigour, and you enjoy translating intricate requirements into clear, executable designs. A natural collaborator, you build strong relationships across functions and empower GTM teams with clarity and confidence. Your continuous-improvement attitude drives you to refine processes and solutions even after launch. If you’re passionate about shaping next-generation logistics offerings and delivering tangible business value, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
