About this Opportunity
We are excited to present a dynamic opportunity for a Solution Architect - Inventory to join our Core Commerce & Orchestration unit in MEA.

This role is focused on working in both Pre-Sales and Delivery, designing and delivering end-to-end inventory solutions, leveraging Ericsson Adaptive Inventory (EAI) as the core engine - enabling unified network and service inventory across physical, logical, and virtual domains.
The architect will play a key role in shaping solutions that enable:
- Unified network inventory across multi-vendor, multi-technology environments
- Service and resource lifecycle management aligned with TM Forum standards
- Foundation layer for orchestration, closed-loop automation, and network assurance
- OSS transformation programs driven by a catalog-driven, API-first inventory architecture
What You Will Do
- Lead value-based solution positioning and proposal development to secure strategic OSS transformation programs and ensure deliverability
- Act as design authority for major transformation engagements, ensuring inventory solutions align with customer needs and Ericsson's architectural principles
- Own the technical architecture end-to-end: define, scope, and drive design solutions across the Inventory domain, with major focus on EAI. Design end-to-end inventory solutions for:
- Physical, logical, and virtual network resource inventory
- Service inventory aligned with catalog-driven architectures (service/resource modeling)
- Multi-domain topology and connectivity management (RAN, Core, Transport, Cloud)
- Integration with orchestration (ESOA), assurance, and mediation layers
- Lead data migration and data cleansing strategies as part of inventory transformation engagements, ensuring quality, completeness, and consistency of inventory data onboarded from legacy OSS systems
- Contribute to reusable assets (inventory models, integration blueprints, migration patterns) and support standardization and industrialization of delivery approaches to enable faster delivery through reuse and best practices
- Share knowledge, contribute to internal communities, and foster a culture of re-use and continuous learning
You Will Bring
Must-Haves:
- 10+ years in telecom/OSS domain
- HLD/LLD design & customer-facing experience
- Hands-on experience with network inventory platforms (EAI)
- Deep understanding of network and service resource modeling (physical, logical, virtual layers)
- Experience with data migration from legacy OSS/inventory systems, including data cleansing, reconciliation, and onboarding strategies
- Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs for inventory (TMF639, TMF640, TMF642, TMF648)
- Good understanding of orchestration (SOM/COM concepts), Order Management, and Assurance integration touchpoints
- Knowledge of multi-technology network domains: RAN, Core, Transport, Cloud/NFV
Can Be Learned on the Job:
- Ericsson-specific tooling & internal processes
- Deep EAI product-specific configuration and administration
- AIOps and closed-loop automation integration specifics

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene
Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
