Software Tester

McMillan Shakespeare is expanding its QA capability and we’re looking for a Software Tester to support functional, regression, and automated testing across our enterprise applications. You’ll work closely with developers, BAs, PMs, and DevOps to ensure high-quality, reliable software is delivered every sprint.

At MMS clear expectations help our people Be the Difference.  Your key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Design and execute test plans and test cases.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Build and maintain automated UI and API test scripts.

• Contribute to automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Prepare and maintain test data and environments.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Support QA documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement.

To be considered for this role you will possess the following:

• 2–4 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

• Strong experience testing web and API applications.

• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

• API testing experience (Postman, Newman, REST Assured, Supertest).

• Good SQL skills for data validation and queries.

• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD tools.

• Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript).

• Bonus: JMeter/k6, OWASP basics, or mobile testing exposure.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and accountability.

• Work on enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
