What you’ll do
Develop and maintain software applications that interface with Telstra’s network platforms, including Network Slicing POV (Proof-of-Value) Engine, Telstra Dedicated Networks Portal, Network API development aligned to CAMARA & Aduna, and upcoming new developments involving intelligence for autonomous networks.
Build and expose APIs for network capabilities and datasets, enabling real-time programmability and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack solutions, including frontend, backend, and database components.
Participate in agile ceremonies, pair programming, and design discussions to ensure high-quality delivery.
Support platform migrations (e.g., VMWare Pivotal Cloud Foundary to RedHat OpenShift), ensuring portability and vendor independence.
About you
Based in Australia with full working rights
Experience in Python, React, and API frameworks
Around 3-8 years of experience is the sweet spot, as this is a mid-level role
You'll ideally have a combination of Software and Network engineering experience, but software is the priority
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitLab, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Bonus points for
Familiarity with telecom protocols and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
Understanding of cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, mission-driven teams.
