Role & Impact
As an iOS Engineer at Blinq, you’ll play a central role in crafting the next generation of our iOS experience helping users around the world form real, lasting connections. You’ll build new features using native technologies, improve app performance, and contribute to scalable, intuitive interfaces that make every interaction count.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and ship core app features using Swift and UIKit (and SwiftUI where relevant)
- Partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver elegant, fast user experiences
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure app reliability and performance
- Contribute to scalable architecture using modern patterns like MVVM
- Grow with the team taking ownership of features and learning from senior engineers
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of iOS development experience with strong Swift fundamentals
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment, ideally SaaS or VC-backed
- Familiarity with iOS design guidelines, performance optimisation, and app lifecycle
- Exposure to architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
