Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript and Java/JavaRx
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Design, implement, and maintain high availability solutions.
- Discuss and elaborate on functional and non-functional requirements with Product Management, Architecture, and QA while ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the product.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our software remains cutting-edge
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications software that takes best advantage of our cloud-based fully-distributed architecture
- Communicate risks and progress in a timely manner to the Scrum Team.
- Support delivered features by debugging and creating RCA for production issues, working towards short-term and long-term fixes.
- Adhere to Tracelink’s documented software dev life cycle methodology
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience, primarily in building products for large enterprises.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Java/JavaRx
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs andMicroservices architecture
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging
- Knowledge of working with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure as code.
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
