The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Software Development Manager to join our growing team and help us scale the next generation of MaintainX products. You’ll lead a talented group of developers, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure we ship products that customers love and rely on daily.

What You’ll DoManage a team of 5–6 product developers, driving delivery, quality, and innovation.
Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Software Development Leaders to scope, plan, and deliver projects with a high bar for quality and reliability.
Lead, mentor, and grow your developers—helping them build new skills, navigate challenges, and advance their careers.
Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the team in achieving goals.
Champion software development excellence—ensuring strong CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and observability practices.
Provide visibility into team impact, progress, and risks to senior leadership.
Collaborate with Recruiting and other Software Development Managers to hire, onboard, and scale a world-class engineering organization.
4+ years of Software Development management experience with proven success leading software teams.
Strong technical foundation in computer science fundamentals, system design, and modern web technologies.
Demonstrated experience in technical design, problem-solving, and project management (experience with Jira preferred).
Passion for hiring, coaching, and developing diverse Software Development teams.
Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, and reliability-focused development practices.
Excellent communication skills—you can distill complex ideas and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
