ClickSend is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design of scalable, high-performance microservices and cloud-native solutions. You'll collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to drive technical excellence, modernize our platform, and shape our tech strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect & Design: Drive the development of scalable, resilient microservices and distributed systems across our teams
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Deeply collaborate with the engineering teams to optimize AWS-based cloud-native solutions for security, efficiency, and reliability.
- Technical Leadership: Set best practices for architecture, coding standards, and DevOps.
- Engineering Impact: Lead system-wide architecture decisions to drive innovation and speed.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Empower & grow engineers to take full ownership of the architecture and designs of their solutions
- Collaboration: Align technical direction with business goals across teams
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven software architecture and development experience.
- Expertise in NodeJS & PHP
- Strong background in microservices & event-driven architecture.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
- Hands-on approach – you still love coding and debugging.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong system design skills balancing performance, scalability, and maintainability.
