We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing Intern to help expand Sendbird’s presence on LinkedIn, strengthen executive thought leadership, and drive employee advocacy through Sprout Social. This is a rare opportunity to scale a B2B brand and craft compelling messaging to spotlight Sendbird as the leader in the AI Agent space. 

*This will be a 16 week (minimum), part-time internship role (no more than 20 hours per week). We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

The pay rate for this internship role is $30.00 per hour.

What You Will Do
  • Content Creation & Curation: Draft and schedule LinkedIn posts for Sendbird and executive accounts, maintaining consistency in tone, visual identity, and strategic messaging.
  • Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with design, product, and content marketing to transform blogs, webinars, and product updates into compelling visuals, videos, or carousels.
  • Channel Management: Own and maintain the social content calendar, ensuring regular posting and campaign alignment across teams.
  • Employee Advocacy: Manage and energize Sendbird’s employee advocacy program through Sprout Social. Curate content, track engagement, and share weekly highlights to motivate participation.
  • Thought Leadership: Partner with the CEO, executives, and subject matter experts to craft authentic, high-impact LinkedIn content that amplifies Sendbird’s AI leadership.
  • Engagement & Community Building: Monitor and engage with employee posts, industry conversations, and relevant AI/CX trends to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics and summarize insights to guide ongoing social strategy and audience growth.
Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to LinkedIn’s professional and B2B audience, not just consumer platforms. 
  • Familiar with Sprout Social or similar social management tools (bonus if you’ve used them before).
  • Comfortable collaborating across time zones and working with creative teams via Jira and Figma.
  • Curious about AI, customer experience, and B2B technology.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with precision and follow-through.
Intern Program Overview:
  • Duration: Minimum 16 weeks
  • Part-time: 20 hours/week
  • Compensation: $30/hour
  • Onsite: 2 days/week at our San Mateo office

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office 2 days per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
