In this Social Media Manager role with Royal Canin, you’ll shape and executing social media strategies and content that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and align with our overall marketing objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics, as well as a passion for storytelling and community building.
You’ll collaborate with teams across Brand & Pet Owner Experience, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Sales—locally and globally—to bring our purpose to life online. This includes content creation, performance reporting, and participating in cross-market conversations, including occasional out-of-hours meetings.

Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 3–5 years of hands-on social media experience in a brand or agency setting.
Skilled in project management, with the ability to develop clear briefs for agencies and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Expert in social media channels and the role they play in engaging shoppers and driving desired outcomes across the full marketing funnel
Strong knowledge of specific platforms such as META business manager, TikTok, YouTube, Google analytics; coupled with expertise in influencer marketing.
A strong content creator and storyteller, with excellent writing and editing skills to craft engaging, pet-focused content.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Social Media Content Lead: In collaboration with the Media Acceleration Lead, create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing and business goals.
Social Community Management: Support the community managers with proactive posting and social monitoring.
Influencer Strategy Lead: Lead the execution of the social influencer strategy including liaising with the influencer agency, campaign breifs, and management of the day-to day.
Administration: Responsible for processing invoices with our vendors and raising Purchase Orders to following financial procedures for processing payments and budget reconciliation.
