Social Media Manager

We are seeking a vibrant and experienced Social Media Manager who is deeply immersed in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. With at least 4 years of specialized experience, you should be crypto-native, having worked with one of the top 200 blockchain or projects. Your role will be pivotal in steering our social media presence, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), leveraging meme culture, and staying ahead of trending topics in the DeFi space.

Responsibilities:

• Content Strategy & Execution: Develop, curate, and manage engaging content for all social media platforms (X, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc) that resonates with the crypto audience. Focus on educational content, memes, and current trends.
• KOL Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and influencers in the crypto space to amplify our message, increase brand visibility, and drive engagement.
• Trending Topics: Stay on the pulse of the crypto market, including DeFi, NFTs, and other emerging trends, to create timely and relevant content that positions our company at the forefront of industry discussions.
• Meme Culture: Utilize and contribute to meme culture effectively to connect with the community, ensuring our brand is seen as current and fun while maintaining professionalism.
• Community Management: Actively manage and grow our social media communities, responding to comments, hosting AMAs, and fostering a positive environment around our brand.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media analytics to track engagement, follower growth, and campaign performance. Use data to refine strategies and report to stakeholders.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns that coincide with product launches, partnerships, or significant crypto events.
• Regulatory Awareness: Ensure all content adheres to the latest advertising and promotional regulations in the crypto industry, especially concerning securities laws.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 4+ years of social media management experience specifically within the cryptocurrency industry.
• Previous employment with a top 200 blockchain or project.
• Proven track record of engaging with KOLs and understanding the dynamics of crypto influencer marketing.
• Deep knowledge of DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain technologies.
• Mastery of meme culture and its application in marketing within the crypto space.
• Excellent writing skills, with a knack for creating content that goes viral on social platforms.
• Experience with social media management tools, analytics tools, and content scheduling software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with crypto-specific platforms like Crypto X, Reddit crypto communities, or Discord servers.
• A personal network or following in the crypto community that can be leveraged for brand promotion.
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies, including DAOs, and how they intersect with social media.
• Experience working in AI sector an advantage.
