About the Role  

As the Socia Media & Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving social engagement and growth via all Ford Australia social platforms, working alongside the Ford Australia Marketing team and agency partners.

 

Reporting directly to the Social Media Manager, this position is based at our National Sales Company Office in Richmond, Melbourne. This role operates under a hybrid work arrangement, requiring four days on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Growth & ROI: Work cross-functionally to drive social marketing growth and demonstrate ROI through data-driven attribution for all socially-led actions.

  • Social Strategy & Execution: Support the development of social strategy plans and manage the end-to-end delivery of the social content calendar.

  • Data & Insights Leadership: Own the Ford Australia social metrics ecosystem, delivering monthly reports that translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Content Discoverability (Social SEO): Lead the optimization of social content for search and discovery.

  • Partnership & Influencer Integration: Lead social content plans for Ford Australia partnerships, influencers, and brand ambassadors.

  • Agency Management: Collaborate with creative and media agency partners to ensure nameplate digital strategies are executed with precision and align with broader search and social trends.

Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing, with a deep specialization in social media platforms (Meta, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Search-First Mindset: Demonstrated understanding of how social media impacts the broader search ecosystem and experience optimizing social content for organic discoverability (Social SEO).
  • Analytical Rigor: Expert-level capability in transforming social platform metrics and KPIs into strategic recommendations.
  • Technical Toolset: Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, social listening/monitoring tools, and Google Trends.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Fluency: Proven experience managing creative/media agencies and navigating complex corporate stakeholder environments.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to concisely convey data insights.
  • Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple social-led nameplate activities and partnership deliverables simultaneously.
