We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused SMSF Fund Administrator to join our team. This is a newly created role to support our growing team supporting our new product offering SMSF Access. In this role, you will provide top-quality SMSF Fund administration and client service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Preparing establishment documents for new Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs)
- Preparing annual superannuation financial statements and tax returns using Class software
- Processing transactions, taxation notices, and correspondence for SMSF clients
- Managing contributions, pensions, benefit payments, and trustee transactions
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting internal and statutory deadlines
- Preparing audit papers and facilitating audits with external auditors
- Identifying automation and efficiency improvements within SMSF administration
- Providing excellent client service and liaising with Advisers to deliver SMSF solutions
- Maintaining up-to-date technical and regulatory knowledge in superannuation and SMSFs
- Supporting general administrative activities related to SMSF management
What you'll need
- At least 1 year of experience in SMSF administration or an accounting practice
- Practical knowledge of Class / NowInfinity software (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of SMSFs
- ASIC Corporate Compliance experience or knowledge (preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong client service skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively
