Job Summary

As a Senior Marketing Analyst in the Strategic Market Analysis team, you will provide data-driven insights to guide FedEx’s business strategy in Asia Pacific, with a focus on the freight forwarding and logistics segment. Your role involves analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors to identify opportunities and risks. Collaborating with regional teams and senior management, you will translate complex data into strategic recommendations and executive presentations to drive business growth.

Number of openings: Two (2), senior to advisor role

What you will do:

  • Develop business strategies, priorities and plans for Asia Pacific Region for achieving revenue growth in line with the regional and corporate objectives, specializing in freight forwarding and logistics segment.

  • Manage the collection and interpretation of various market information of Asia Pacific region to facilitate market analysis to identify opportunities and risks. Market information includes but not limited to macro-economics, industry environment, competitive landscape and customer requirements.

  • Employ quantitative analysis to turn data into intelligence with recommendations.

  • Work closely and collaborate with various teams across Asia Pacific region and headquarters to conduct market analysis.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to Senior Management and regional/functional management to drive business strategy discussions.

  • Lead and prepare APAC business update presentation to corporate executive management to communicate the strategic plan and business development of the region

You will be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical discipline.

  • Have a strong command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Possess 8 years of experience in market analysis preferably within the Logistics and Forwarding industry, with regional exposure.

  • Experience in regional consultancy projects would be an advantage.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent organizational skills, and a keen numerical sense in a fast-paced environment.

  • Are highly analytical and detail oriented.

  • Are proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
