At Versent, as a Mid-Level ServiceNow Technical Consultant, you will collaborate with senior consultants to design and implement ServiceNow solutions, leveraging platform advancements to meet customer business needs. Must be an Australian citizen, able to obtain security clearance, and currently residing in Australia – ACT preferably.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and deployment of ServiceNow solutions, mapping customer requirements to technical configurations using new features, such as Agentic AI and enhanced AI search.
- ·mplement and maintain ServiceNow modules, focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM), with exposure to IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), incorporating AI-driven automation and low-code workflows.
- Assist in maintaining Configuration Management Database (CMDB) integrity, adhering to Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and utilising new features (e.g., Data management console).
- Contribute to integrations using ServiceNow’s REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, and Integration Hub, supporting interoperability with AI models and third-party systems.
- Engage with customers and internal teams to deliver solutions, ensuring clear communication and effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Share knowledge and contribute to process improvements, staying informed on trends like sustainable IT and AI governance to enhance team capabilities.
- Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow releases (e.g., Yokohama, Zurich) and technology innovations, applying learnings to project deliverables.
What We’re Expecting from You
- 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including ITSM implementations, with familiarity in Yokohama and Xanadu (Q4 2024) release features.
- Working knowledge of CMDB management and CSDM frameworks, with exposure to Yokohama’s data management console.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM) or micro-certifications (e.g., AI Search) highly desirable.
- Basic proficiency in front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ServiceNow scripting (e.g., GlideAPI, Business Rules) for custom and low-code solutions.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, preferably using REST APIs or Integration Hub, with an interest in AI and IoT connectivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build customer relationships.
- Collaborative mindset, eager to learn, contribute to team growth, and apply new ServiceNow capabilities like AI agents and low-code platforms.
- Awareness of emerging ServiceNow features (e.g., AI Control Tower, industry-specific workflows) and trends like sustainable IT and data security.
- Commitment to staying current with ServiceNow releases and technology innovations, ensuring proficiency in Agentic AI and cross-platform analytics.
