We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in as a ServiceNow Developer. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.

  • Create and configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and other platform components.

  • Develop custom applications and integrations using ServiceNow's scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API).

  • Perform regular platform upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and systems using APIs, web services, and other integration methods.

  • Develop and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

  • Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed solutions.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.

  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational policies.

Qualification

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.).

  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.

  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, REST/SOAP APIs).

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist).

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

  • Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active baseline security clearance.
