What's in it for you?
The SEO Content Coordinator (Japanese speaking) will assist in implementing tasks that help contribute to improving Search Engine Optimisation for Stake.com, specifically for the Japanese market. These tasks include researching keywords, analysing search performance, optimising content, and coordinating activities such as acquiring external media exposure in Japanese.

Your role with us:
This is an exciting SEO opportunity where every day is different! Be responsible for reviewing and deploying and deploy optimised Japanese content via our CMS (Sanity) while also briefing third-party providers on content structure and purpose to achieve SEO outcomes for the Japanese market. You will also get to research, plan, and strategise Japanese content for new games, sporting events, and blogs!

What you will do: 

  • Review and deploy optimised Japanese content via our CMS (Sanity)
  • Brief third-party providers on content structure and purpose to achieve SEO outcomes for the Japanese market
  • Coordinate with the CRM and Design team members for regular Japanese content activity
  • Research, plan, and strategies Japanese content for new games, sporting events, and blogs
  • Analyse Japanese search keywords and report search performance
  • Review existing Japanese content for interlinking opportunities
  • Plan and prioritise resourcing for SEO Activity in Japanese
  • Keep up to date with the latest strategies, trends, and best practices in the SEO Industry, particularly for the Japanese market
  • Perform ad-hoc corrections or updates on the Japanese version of the Stake.com website

What you will bring: 

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese
  • Tertiary qualifications or a degree in Business, Marketing or other related discipline is desirable and would be preferable
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role preferred, graduate applicants welcome
  • A background or understanding in Search Engine Optimisation or PPC, particularly in the Japanese market
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the Japanese market
  • Experience with SEO Tooling such as Ahrefs/SEMRush/Google Search Console is highly advantageous

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Familiarity with web technology and Content Management Systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation and Time Management Skills
  • SEO Content Writing and Keyword Research in Japanese
