At Versent, we’re seeking for a GIS Developer to join our team and help deliver cutting-edge geospatial solutions. If you have a passion for mapping, spatial analytics, and cloud technologies, this is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom mapping applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder.
- Develop interactive GIS visualisations for spatial analysis and decision-making.
- Integrate ArcGIS Web Maps, Web Scenes, and spatial data layers into applications.
- Work with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript to develop and deploy solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into geospatial solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in ArcGIS Experience Builder and and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience with geospatial data visualisation, map-based analytics, and dashboard development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript (for customizing widgets and automating workflows).
- Familiarity with Esri’s JavaScript API, Arcade, and REST services.
- Experience with web GIS applications and integrating third-party data sources.
- Strong understanding of spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and coordinate systems.
- Ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for GIS applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Preferably some experience with QGIS, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools for geospatial dashboards
- Preferably familiar with cloud-based GIS infrastructure, including deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, and integration with cloud-hosted spatial databases
