Step into a key technical role where you’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to design, configure and deliver reliable connectivity solutions. As our Senior Wholesale Customer Solutions Engineer, you’ll use your telco expertise and hands on network skills to ensure seamless installations and exceptional service. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working arrangement.

Let’s talk about you

  • Strong knowledge of business and enterprise telco solutions (NBN technologies, CPE, fibre, VoIP/number porting, data center services)

  • Experience delivering small–large scale SD‑WAN, MPLS and Layer 2 networks

  • Hands‑on experience with Cisco/Fortinet (CCNA, NSE4/5 or similar highly regarded)

  • Practical experience implementing hosted phone systems, cloud connect and managed router solutions

  • Proven ability to solve problems, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt quickly in changing environments

How will you support our “Why?”

  • Work directly with customers to understand their technical requirements and ensure smooth delivery of connectivity solutions (e.g., backups, IP config, security, server needs).

  • Partner with Sales to develop detailed solution designs and configurations.

  • Configure network infrastructure across a range of hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki).

  • Support installer technicians on installation days to ensure services and hardware are deployed successfully.

  • Prepare clear handover documentation, including network designs and configuration details, for Customer Operations.

  • Conduct technical product research and collaborate with Strategic Products and Marketing as needed.

  • Stay up to date with Aussie Broadband’s product suite and network capabilities.
