About the role
Kasada has an exciting opportunity to join our team responsible for defending our customers against automation.
Attackers use automated frameworks, fake devices and device farms to launch highly costly attacks on our customers. Kasada's SDKs help secure millions of devices and their APIs in real time. As a member of our Engineering team, you will be able develop new creative innovations and establish yourself as a leader in the growing field of cyber security.
As a Web SDK engineer you will get to work deeply with browsers and delve into their specifications, obtaining a deep knowledge of how browsers operate. As there is no user interface you will not need to worry about styling or focusing on frameworks! Instead you will get to focus on building an efficient, low dependency, and highly performant SDK.
What you will be doing:
- Design and implement features on our Web SDK, protecting hundreds of millions of requests every day
- Collaborate closely with other product and engineering teams
- Be involved in architecture design discussions in how we can build efficient solutions
- Build efficient and highly performant solutions that cater for all the different types of customer integrations
What you will bring:
- We don’t expect you to meet everything below, but we do look for candidates eager to develop in areas where they have less experience
- At least 3 years experience working in a Full Stack role with a focus on front-end technologies
- TypeScript / JavaScript experience
- Knowledge of browsers including backwards compatibility
- Willingness to look into browser specifications
- Exposure to SDK architectures and design patterns
- A great ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong debugging skills and willingness to delve into unknowns
- Understanding of writing user based tests
- CDN knowledge
- Integration investigation experience
- Understanding of CORS
- Cybersecurity experience
- Client based testing experience
