Job Description

As a Senior Test Analyst specializing in Finance ERP systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a large-scale finance ERP transformation initiative. Working as part of a quality assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the design, execution, and optimization of comprehensive test scenarios and test cases across complex workflows, system integrations, and financial modules.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, business stakeholders. Your proactive approach to identifying gaps, improving test processes will directly contribute to the delivery of high-performing, business-aligned Oracle Fusion transformation. 

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will work both autonomously and in teams to execute end-to-end testing activities across Finance Functional modules, ensuring quality delivery aligned with business requirements. You will be responsible for designing detailed test plans, cases, and scripts, and conducting functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, active participation in project planning and defect triage meetings, and effective defect management using tools like JIRA. You will also mentor team members, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvements in testing processes and practices.

Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience in functional testing of large-scale finance systems including Source to Pay, Record to Report and Acquire to Retire streams that cover Functional area such as Accounts Payable, GL Accounting, Reconciliations, Financial/Regulatory Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, PO Management, PO receipting, invoice processing, payments, expenses etc
  • Prior experience working with Oracle Fusion, SAP or an equivalent enterprise level finance ERP solution in a large-scale complex enterprise environment
  • Solid understanding of core accounting and financial principles
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts aligned with user and business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, SharePoint and Confluence.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
