HUB24 is seeking a collaborative and innovative Senior Test Analyst specializing in Automation and Performance Testing to join our fintech team. We are developing cutting-edge financial platforms designed to empower advisers, making quality financial advice more accessible and affordable for all Australians. Responsibilities
- Lead performance testing to identify bottlenecks, ensuring scalability and robustness
- Collaborate with developers for smooth integration testing of microservices and data pipelines
- Validate caching, data lakes, and pipeline systems for reliability and performance
- Contribute to evolving test strategies for performance testing from front end and back end systems
- Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing (JMeter, Gatling)
- Execute automation test scripts for APIs, UI, and backend systems
- Implement new performance testing tools and frameworks for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial industry security standards
- Optimise application performance and improve database queries
- Maintain test strategies, test execution report and conduct peer reviews
- Mentor junior team members and promote collaborative testing
- Foster a culture of quality and innovation, and monitor system performance
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and align QA processes with delivery goals
- Lead and mentor the team, showcasing QA practices through workshops
Requirement
- Degree in IT or related field, ISTQB certification preferred
- Experience of performance testing for different types of application and system are bonus
- Able to create JMeter test cases from scratch
- Good experience with SQL
- MongoDB experience is desirable
- Experience in Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and FinTech products
- Proven ability in building scalable enterprise applications
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and client focus
- Motivated, organised, with a commitment to innovation, ethics, and mentorship
