We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of infrastructure and systems projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes across a range of client environments.
This is a fixed term (12 months) full-time position (hybrid working model), based in Melbourne.
Key duties and responsibilities
This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with leadership in resolving complex support incidents and service requests, acting as a key escalation point within the team.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and other engineers to implement robust, scalable solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices. In addition to project execution and support responsibilities, you will contribute to the consulting function by providing technical insights, assisting with solution design, and mentoring junior team members.
Key selection criteria
To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:
- 5+ years working within the domain specialisation
- Relevant Microsoft certification (Azure, M365, Fortinet etc.)
- Strong knowledge of ConnectWise
- Experience in building and deploying automations through RMM tools.
- Hands-on experience with on premise to cloud migrations (e.g. Servers, Exchange etc.) and troubleshooting migration issues.
- Post-migration validation, user acceptance testing, and documentation of migration processes.
- Project management skills for planning, coordinating, and executing project tasks and migrations.
- Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (Routers, switches, wireless access points), including configuring, installing, replacing and troubleshooting.
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues in Windows OS, Azure and M365 environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating administration tasks and bulk operations.
- Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with relevant updates and best practices.
