We're seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Solutions Consultant, accustomed to solving complex customer problems and closing large deals, to join our growing team in Melbourne. You'll partner with our sales team and consulting partners, working primarily with professionals in accounting, sustainability, risk, and investor relations teams across the Melbourne & Perth markets. You will demonstrate how Workiva's innovative solutions can drive efficiency, mitigate risk, and deliver exceptional value.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Sales & Drive Revenue: Collaborate closely with our sales team and partners in Melbourne and Perth to identify, develop, and deliver impactful solution consulting engagements that win new business and expand existing accounts

  • Become a Customer Champion: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with customers, focusing on the specific needs of accounting, finance, ESG, risk, and investor relations professionals

  • Develop and present tailored value-based demonstrations that showcase the ROI of Workiva's platform

  • Center your efforts around solving customer problems, making this your guiding principle

  • Navigate Complex Sales Cycles: Strategize with the sales team on how to navigate winning sales cycles, deliver tailored demonstrations, run workshops, and contribute to RFx responses and support Proof of Concepts (POCs)

  • Communicate the value of Workiva's platform effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Be a Product Expert and Evangelist: Maintain a deep understanding of Workiva's platform, industry best practices, and regulatory trends

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our target personas within the accounting, finance, ESG, risk, and investor relations space

  • Immerse yourself in their world, understand their challenges, and become a trusted advisor who can articulate how Workiva solves their specific problems

  • Engage and Influence: Drive customer success by proactively identifying and addressing challenges with innovative solutions. Engage and influence audiences of all sizes with your exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Manage Competing Priorities: Demonstrate your ability to manage competing priorities and balance your workload effectively in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales or customer-facing environment

  • Proven experience selling solutions into the Office of Finance, Sustainability, or Risk

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting at customer events and industry conferences

  • Strong technical acumen with SaaS solutions and cloud technologies

  • A resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving, with a desire to find solutions and make a tangible impact

  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage and influence audiences of all sizes, including C-level executives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, balance workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • A growth mindset, embracing continuous learning and thriving in an environment that challenges you to constantly grow and develop your skills and knowledge

Location and Travel

  • Travel is expected to be 20-30% to service the Melbourne and Perth markets (and occasionally to NZ)

  • Reliable internet access for remote work outside of Workiva offices
