We are now seeking an experienced Quality Automation Tester to join the team.

As our Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the future of our Class 3 Games automation testing strategy. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks while mentoring junior testers and working closely with our automation lead, development teams and stakeholders to ensure high-quality gaming software delivery.

Leveraging your deep expertise in programming, you'll design, implement, and optimise gameplay features, collaborating closely with designers and other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement automation testing frameworks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Software quality assurance process.

  • Lead and mentor junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-leading tools and frameworks.

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient test automation strategies.

  • Assist with the development of the automation strategy and ensure reduction in manual testing, shifting towards a more automated testing approach.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing early in the software development lifecycle.

  • Develop and execute automated test cases for regression and new feature testing

  • Establish CI/CD integration for automated testing, ensuring smooth deployment pipelines.

  • Implement and maintain comprehensive test coverage across multiple platforms

  • Utilize data-driven and behavior-driven testing methodologies to enhance test efficiency.

  • Monitor and report test execution results, defects, and performance trends to key stakeholders.

  • Champion best practices in test automation, quality assurance, and software development methodologies.

Must-Have Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.

  • Expertise in setting up and managing test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Robo Framework or similar).

  • Strong programming/scripting skills Java, C++, C#, Python, or similar languages.

  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence or similar tools).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge or experience in emerging trends in software testing, AI-driven test automation, and continuous testing strategies.

  • Unreal Engine knowledge
